2022 Year off to an Amazing Start
The 3rd grade class has covered a lot of ground since arriving back at school, now almost two weeks ago! Our first art display, Sunflowers, is now up in the hallway. Stop in and check it out! For this project, the students worked with Ms. Linda, painting their beautiful sunflowers with Q-tips. Our class has been learning the basic procedures that will help us to have a successful schoolyear. After studying the classroom rules, the 3rd grade made comics to show some of the things NOT to do in school. The results gave us a good laugh! In Social Studies, we have commenced our geography studies for the year by looking at the continents of the world. For this activity, the students joined in groups to help each other decide which countries belonged in which continents. Almost all of their group-decisions were accurate!
