Springtime 3rd Grade Activities

Image
Loads of stuff has been happening in the Third Grade as the end of the year approaches. We have had fun field trips, visits from cool community members, and positively awesome projects lately. And we still have plenty more to come! Our class went on a fantastic field trip at the beginning of April to the Taos Country Club. We got taught by golf pros about the finer points of putting and driving.  We also found out that one of the best things about golfing on a windy day is having hot cocoa in the club restaurant! Inspired by our reading of Stuart Little by E.B. White, the class made poster to show what they did for their How to Be a Helper projects. The students came up with generous and caring ways to help their families and their community.  Helping grandma in the garden Helping dad do home renovation Helping family collect and cut up fire wood Helping uncle do house chores Helping everyone in the family, including pets!
