US Cities posters and much more

Image
Mila made her poster about San Francisco. She used some very nice colorful imagery here.  AJ's project was about Los Angeles. Great job making the mountains and the Ferris Wheel. Oliver's poster was also about Los Angeles. He chose a whole bunch of interesting facts to include.  Lillyana's city was Boston. She put some nice touches on hers for St. Patrick's Day. Emma also did her project on Boston. She picked some of the most iconic things about Boston to include on her poster.  Nash did his project on Los Angeles. He did an amazing job of drawing the city buildings and the sun.  Rainflower did an excellent job recording her observations on this Science project about melting ice. Destiny did a great job on this recent Science project. She fingerprinted herself and a few of her family members, and compared the fingerprints.  Destiny also made an amazing drawing of the different layers of the human skin.  Lillyana made a very nice cursive alien. Who knew that cursive wri

She made a model of a neuron using pipe cleaners as well! Cora drew scenes from the movie version of "And Now Miguel." In these very well designed scenes, Cora shows how the sheep got lost, and Miguel went out and found them.  AJ showed various scenes from the movie. My favorite is where he shows the thing that changed everything for Miguel: when the letter from the US Draft Board arrived for his brother Gabriel. Cedar chose some of the best scenes from the movie to illustrate, including the one where Miguel sits down to dinner after a hard day's work.  Oliver got a head start on this weeks US Cities Project. He did an excellent job of showing all the important stuff you'd need to know about Los Angeles.  Emma completed her Science project on digestion. This shows what happens
