Fossil-making projects, One-Pagers, and Candy bar drilling
The 3rd Grade at TISA has done some impressive work in the last couple of weeks, especially in Science and Social Studies. The students learned about the geological conditions that it takes to make a fossil. Then, they had the chance to make some fossils of their own! Take a look at some of the fossil-making projects done by our students. We read about the Pony Express, the Transcontinental Railroad, and the Oregon Trail, just to name a few. The students were tasked with creating a One-Pager, using words and images to convey what they had learned. These are some of the marvelous results.
