The Third Grade has been busy learning and going on educational field trips. Here you can see some of the projects and activities that we have been up to. Here we are at the Talpa Community Center, where Ms. Luzita read us a cool story called The Arrow of the Sun. We then did an art activity based on the story and played in the playground. We went to the Taos Junction Bridge, where we investigated the types of insects that trout like to eat in their natural habitat. After visiting the river we went to the New Mexico Wildlife Center in Espanola. We saw owls, hawks, and a bobcat. We had a number of new Students of the Month for April and May.
