Great Way to Start 2021
The 3rd grade students at TISA are off to a great start in 2021. Take a look at some of the great work they have done in the last couple weeks, especially in Science and Social Studies.
The students studied plant respiration by putting plastic bags over plant leaves. The condensation inside the bags showed how plants breathe out oxygen, which is the same gas that we humans breathe in.
Some students got a head start on the next week's Science project, in which they will find out whether seedlings need soil in order to sprout. Stay tuned for the results of that!
Other students showed great work in last week's Social Studies assignment, where we studied New Mexican Geography and Culture.
