Fun field trip and awesome artwork

The 3rd grade had a fantastic time at Las Golondrinas in Santa Fe on Wednesday. Our first field trip of the year was a huge success. We rode down in the school bus, and while we were there we learned a lot about what life was like for Spanish settlers in Old New Mexico over 200 years ago!

In our Language and Culture Club, we have been learning about the Chinese art of making tangrams.

In Ms. Cassandra's art class, we have been learning the Japanese art of painting on rice paper.
