Christmas Performance, Hanukkah Visit, and Winter Dance

Our class practiced for week's in preparation for the Christmas Performance. Here are the students rehearsing their finale dance with Ms. Anandi.

The Performance went phenomenally well. Thanks to Ms. Ali, Ms. Anandi, Christopher Heron, and Ms. Roe for all the help they gave us in preparing for it. And thanks to those who came to school to see it!

During December, our class learned about Christmas but learned about other traditions as well. Particularly Hanukkah. We were fortunate enough to receive a visit from Rabbi Jack of Los Alamos, who read us a Hanukkah story, taught us about the tradition of the menorah, and along with his wife very generously brought dreidels for everyone!

One of the highlights of the holiday season was definitely the Winter Dance. Ms. Sadie and Ms. Ali did a spectacular job of decorating the Multipurpose Room and providing music for the students to dance to.
