Art projects and fun TISA activities
The TISA 3rd grade has been studying the Solar System lately. Take a look at these projects the students made, constructing constellations out of marshmallows and toothpicks.
You might not have noticed we were gone, but last week our class went on a virtual field trip to Outer Space! Thanks to the Santa Fe Children's Museum, we were able to view black holes and distant galaxies. The students asked some great questions about space.
Despite the snow delay, we had our annual TISA Read-a-Thon on Thursday. The students brought blankets and pillows and hunkered down for some solid reading. Altogether the class read over 200 books or chapters to raise money for our Spring field trips.
